Wire Ribbon Flowers

Another step by step instructions for creating flowers. This idea has been floating in my head for a few days, so I decided to give it a shot. These little flowers are so adorable very easy to make and are wonderful embellishments for your projects.
Materials:
1" wired ribbon 6" long
nose pliers
glue gun
1 Rhine stone

First you will need to remove one side of the wire from the ribbon.

Then you will need to  pull the other side of the wire on both ends

Now gather the ribbon and twist the wire close to the ribbon to make a circle
adjust the ribbon, clip the excess wire and glue the two ends together.

now,  all you need to do is add a rhine stone in the center
and that's it! very simple and beautiful, you can experiment with all kinds of wire ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed my step by step instructions.  Leave me a comment of your thoughts.
Thanks

Gift Boxes

This weekend my mother and I worked on some gifts boxes for our jewelry.  These boxes are 3 x 3, I used the Martha Stewart score board to create these boxes.  They are so lovely.

So you may have noticed, I love to create paper flowers.  You will see many of these all over my blog. Oh! and the silver ones are made from aluminum paper, very cool.

My Creatve Time - Throw Back Thursday Challenge

This is my first ever challenge entry using my new blog.  This card was created for My Creative Time Throw Back Thursday.  The card is 6"x 5" and embellished with a distressed paper flower.  I included instructions on how to make this flower on my previous post, just scroll down.  I hope you enjoy.  Thank you.

How to create a distressed paper flower

These flowers are very simple to create.  These are great for emblishments on cards or layouts.
First cut out 4 circles 3", 2-1/2", 2", 1-1/2 and 1"

Distress the edges and crumble all cirlces
Unfold all cricles

Assemble circles and add brad in center

Very simple and beautiful.

Cards

Here are a couple of projects I done this past summer of 2010.
These below were invitations I made for a jewelry demonstration I hosted.
I really was happy how these turned out. Just disappointed that I did
not take better pictures.  I'm thinking of recreating these for birthday cards.

This card I created last year for my dad's birthday.
I used regular aluminum paper and embossed it with the cuttle bug.
